The Chatham Area Public Library Is Accepting Submissions For A Community Zine

Chatham, IL: The Chatham Area Public Library is seeking submissions for their inaugural Chatham Community Zine. A zine (pronounced ZEEN) is a self-published collection of work of  personal expression, information, or skill-sharing created by one or more people. The Chatham Community Zine will be a compilation of original artwork created by members of the Chatham community all centered on the theme of “gratitude”. 

Submissions will be accepted from October 1- 31, must be appropriate for all audiences, and fit onto a 5.5” x 8.5” sheet of paper. Submissions must also be black and white and can be visual in nature and/or include poetry or prose. Those interested in participating can pick-up the guidelines and paper from the Library during their business hours or visit https://www.chathamlib.org/chatham-community-zine to submit their work digitally. The Chatham Community Zine will be printed and made available free to the public and will also be put onto the Library’s website to be made available for download.
