The Chatham Area Public Library District has four seats on the Board of Trustees to be filled in the upcoming April 6, 2021 Consolidated Election. Board member seats up for re-election in 2021 are currently held by the following individuals: Michael Roubitchek, Chelsey Moore, John Moore and Eric Bolinger.
Nomination papers and related materials will be available for pick up on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at the Chatham Area Public Library District at 600 East Spruce Street, Chatham, during the Library’s current hours of operation: 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. Monday – Thursday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Friday, and 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday.
Nomination papers may also be picked up at the Sangamon County Election Office, Room 105, Sangamon County Building, 220 S. 9th Street, Springfield, beginning Tuesday, September 22, 2020. The office hours for the Sangamon County Election Office are 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday.
The first day to circulate petitions is September 22, 2020. Petitions must be filed at the Sangamon County Election Office, located in Room 105 of the Sangamon County Building, 200 S. 9th Street, Springfield, during the office hours of 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., (Monday – Friday) The filing period is December 14 – 21, 2020.
