Lincoln Award: Illinois Teen Readers’ Choice Award
The Lincoln Award goes to the book with the highest student votes from the master list. To make it to the master list, adult and young adult titles are nominated by educators, vetted by the committee, and selected for their overall quality. A panel of high school librarians, teachers, public librarians, and students curates the final list of twenty titles each year.
