The Jessica Hay Toddler Area is the perfect place to have fun in the library, meet new friends and keep the kids' minds active through imagination. This area is open when the library is. Check it out on those cold winter days as well as those hot summer days.
Storytime is not just for kids! Our Storytimes are designed to demonstrate to parents how to teach early literacy skills. Please sit with your child and participate even if your child is shy. Children learn by example, and you are their best role model. We do not expect rapt silent attention. If your child does become disruptive, feel free to leave the room together and return when he/she has calmed down.
Food Allergies
Food allergies affect 1 in 13 children under the age of 18. Please consider bringing snacks into library programs, including storytimes, that do not contain food that could hurt others.
